Dear Mr. Michael J. Fox,
My 20 year old son and I have been a long time fans of yours and followed you through your amazing career and we have read your books. In fact, you are part of the reason my son learned to laugh again.
I have survived three major traumatic brain injuries, brain surgery and radiation and a major auto accident, all which doctors said I am a walking miracle because I am alive. Now I am learning to live life again.
I am writing to you because I want to share my own story with you and I believe there is a very strong possibility that Dr. Li-Chun Huang has a potential treatment for you and millions of others who are suffering from Parkinson’s.
I believe Dr. Huang may have the treatment answer for Parkinson’s with Auricular Medicine, an alternative medicine. One of her students, Lisa Wong LAC is my Acupuncturist who is following her prescription for treating my brain injuries. I have been receiving treatment from Lisa Wong and she is treating my brain injuries in the most amazing way! I was not able to learn anything new and I had major memory problems.
I could no longer do math and I was a bank vice president for 23 years. I lost my career after my first brain injury in 2001. After my last brain injury in 2007 my brain became unpredictable. I lost my executive function, judgment and ability to do math. Lisa told me about brain injuries without ever seeing an MRI of my brain or talking with any of my doctors.
My doctors never told me that I had internal bleeding and a lymphatic system blockage, and that my brain was reinjured where I had brain surgery in 2003. Lisa found her true calling for healing people. My life is changing and improving! I don’t sleep all day everyday anymore. It took a long time for all the brain injuries so it is taking time to get better. If I had never experienced any of this, I would never have believed in it.
None of my doctors believed that any of my medical problems due to brain injuries were treatable. Now they are all telling me to continue my alternative medicine treatment.

Dr. Li-Chun Huang did not know who I was and she had never seen my medical records. She did an exam on both my ears and nothing else. I was absolutely both shocked and amazed at everything the doctor said about my health history! I have never been to a palm reader, but it certainly felt something like that because I was hearing about everything that ever happened to my body both inside and outside from head to toe!
I always believed strong women stay healthy and because I always enjoyed exercise, running and taking care of myself, no one can see all my brain injuries as well as physical injuries.
Before the auricular exam on April 30, 2013, Lisa Wong told me that she never told Dr. Li-Chun Huang anything about me or my medical history. The entire exam was about an hour. Lisa Wong was present and recorded the exam on my phone. This exam was done at the Five Branches University for Acupuncture in San Jose California. It was part of an acupuncture class about Auricular Medicine with students observing and asking questions.
I lost my senses of smell and taste in the auto accident. During my session, the doctor confided that she has successfully 2 brain injured treated patients and I too can have my senses of smell and taste again with treatment. My doctor, Chief Ear Nose and Throat Specialist told me these sensations will never come back because the nerves were sheared.
When I first started treatment with Lisa Wong, my doctor told me there was nothing anyone could do for another major problem, a parotid gland cyst that was found as an incidental finding in early 2008. It continued to grow to be the size of a golf ball. Lisa treated it and it is gone. The doctor was shocked. He admitted that he never believed in acupuncture. After this experience he told me that if I ever needed a referral for Auricular Medicine, he would gladly give it to me.

Even though my treatment is being done in my ears for brain injuries, there is so much more being done for my entire body. I did not have feeling in my left foot and in my fingers and that has returned. I kept dropping everything. I lost use of my left hand with Apraxia (brain injury) and now it is working again! I could go on and on with improvements since my treatment. Six months ago, I could not carry on a conversation with anyone.
God kept me here for a reason so I know my life isn’t over yet. One of the items on my bucket list has always been to write and publish a book. Maybe this is what I am here for! Lisa Wong and I are working on an article about Auricular Medicine.
My brain injuries were in early 2001, 2003 and late 2007. I started Auricular Medicine treatment in late 2012 after years of struggle and lack of hope. I am 55 and never expected to be doing this well ever in my life! Everyone says I look great too. No one can see brain injuries. My weight is perfect and I hope to return to doing so many things I have missed, especially running. My body and brain are working together in ways I never expected.
My own experience shows how Auricular Medicine will diagnose patient’s medical problems without talking with patient in advance, reviewing medical records or history, and give immediate diagnosis. After undergoing treatment, I believe people do not understand that acupuncture is a process. It is not something that is done in one or two treatments, but it may take time. I had no idea that this is such a remarkable method of treatment. Acupuncture has been successfully done for over 2,000 years in China. Auricular Medicine is successful and needs to be practiced.
Lisa told me to watch a movie, “Forks Over Knives”. People outside the United States do not have the same medical issues we are experiencing. They do not have the cancer and heart problems we have. I no longer eat meat or chicken after watching the movie.
When Dr. Huang did my exam, she said I have no sign on cancer, heart disease or diabetes. She had never met me or seen any of my medical records. Prior to my exam with her on April 30, 2013 I did have a complete physical including a complete blood workup which provided all Normal results. The only problems I have are brain injuries which are a work in progress at this point. I truly believe I have made a lot of progress, more than anyone ever imagined. Dr. Huang accurately told me about childhood medical issues that only my family knew about just from my ears.
I found stories of healing by Dr. Huang on the internet. She healed a blind man who lost his eyesight due to a brain tumor. Doctors said he would not regain his sight. She can see tumors and fibroids in the ears.
